When we went to Wind Flight to look at some horses, Ray did not show us Shine, as we call him, until we had looked at everything else on the farm.  He later told me he knew I was going to buy him even before I did.  He was probably right as the minute we saw him, we feel in love with this beautiful bay boy.  His conformation is awesome, but his most winning attribute is his disposition.  Next to Rio, he is the gentlest stallion you could ever hope to meet.  Ultimately, this wonderful attitude was his worst nightmare in the show ring; he was just so laid back even in a ring full of other stallions that he got missed sometimes when he should not have.  He did well in the show ring winning many Jr. Championships and placing 3rd in a class of over 40 as a 2 year old. He is a National Top Five winner in open and futurity.  We did not take him back out as a senior stallion as we wanted him at home to make babies.  He has lived up to his royal pedigree of being sired by the Multi Time Winner of National Get Of Sire Glenn's General Patton.  His full brother SPECTACULAR BAY has now produced a National Grand Champion also and sold at the last World Sale for $52,000.00. Unfortunately, there will be no more like him and Spectacular Bay as their dam, "Vanessa", passed away this last year.  Shine is an unbelievable stallion with a beautiful head, long neck, flat topline and very,very straight legs. Couple that with the attitude I described and I am sure you can see why we are so excited about this little guy.  He has recently proven that he can pass all those great attributes to his get!!  WOW!  You should see the babies that were born in 2007!!!!  We are greatly reducing the size of our herd and are, therefore, regretfully offering Shine for sale to the right home.  $75,000.00
